POSITION OVERVIEW

Scion Staffing is conducting a confidential search for an Interim Operations Leader for a privately held manufacturing organization in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This 100% onsite interim assignment delivers steady leadership, operational continuity, and execution support during a transition period, with potential for conversion to full‑time for the right candidate.

• Provide hands‑on leadership across operations, including production, assembly, quality, shipping, inventory, and supply chain
• Maintain operational continuity during leadership transition while keeping teams focused and engaged
• Support compliance, quality systems, and process adherence without overhauling existing structures
• Lead, coach, and support managers and frontline leaders during periods of change
• Monitor operational performance, address issues proactively, and ensure projects stay on track
• Partner with leadership to align daily execution with near‑term operational priorities

• Demonstrated operations leadership experience within manufacturing or assembly‑based environments
• Strong understanding of assembly operations and operational workflows
• Experience stabilizing teams and operations during periods of transition or change
• Exposure to regulated or compliance‑driven environments strongly preferred
• Steady, execution‑focused leadership style with strong communication and people skills

This interim role offers a pay rate of $79–$81 per hour, based on experience. Candidates are paid weekly by Scion Staffing, with health benefits available after 30 days. This assignment has potential for temp‑to‑hire conversion for candidates interested in longer‑term opportunities.
