Master Scheduler | Walker, MI
Salary Range: $75,000 - $109,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We are collaborating with multiple companies in Walker seeking experienced Master Schedulers. These organizations value long-term fit and are looking for professionals who bring both skill and alignment. By joining our network, you gain access to opportunities tailored to your goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the master production schedule, considering capacity constraints and material availability.
- Collaborate with sales, production, and supply chain to ensure alignment on production plans and customer demand.
- Monitor inventory levels of finished goods and raw materials, adjusting schedules to prevent stockouts or overstock.
- Utilize ERP/MRP systems to optimize scheduling and track production progress against the plan.
- Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts, communicating potential delays and mitigation strategies to stakeholders.
- Analyze production performance and schedule adherence, implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
- Forecast future production needs based on sales forecasts, historical data, and market trends.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in production planning, master scheduling, or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven expertise with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Dynamics AX) and advanced planning and scheduling (APS) software.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with various departments.
- APICS CSCP or CPIM certification preferred.
