Working Supervisor | Walker, MI

Salary Range: $57,000 - $84,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production activities to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to foster skill development and performance.
• Enforce safety protocols and company policies to maintain a secure work environment.
• Coordinate with other departments to optimize workflow and resolve production issues.
• Monitor inventory levels and material usage to prevent shortages and minimize waste.
• Operate machinery and assist with production tasks as needed to meet deadlines.
• Conduct quality checks and implement corrective actions to maintain product standards.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role.
• Proven ability to train, mentor, and motivate production teams.
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols and quality control standards in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration and reporting.
• Proficiency in using manufacturing software and basic computer applications.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI)
• Ability to train and mentor new team members
• Bilingual in Spanish and English
