2nd Shift Quality Technician

Schedule- 3:30 p.m. – 1:00 a.m. Monday – Thursday
- 3:30 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. Every other Friday
- Read and interpret work instructions to ensure accuracy of work performed.
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections of in-process assemblies and finished products.
- Disposition product according to written procedures and work instructions.
- Review all paperwork and documentation for final approval.
- Maintain inventory location and status.
- Maintain and update documentation of records via Oracle, written documents, and spreadsheets.
- Communicate with Quality Engineers, Supervisors, Leaders, and team members.
- Be capable of being trained across the entire product line and work with Quality and Engineering on new or emerging products.
- Follow all company guidelines and procedures.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement efforts.
- Perform off‑line tasks including quality checks, down‑time reporting, and housekeeping duties when required.
- Perform other related duties to benefit the mission of the organization or as assigned by your leader.
Skills & Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing or quality inspection
- Keen attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Strong math and computer skills
- Electronic and mechanical assembly experience, including hand tools, soldering iron, ruler, caliper, and related tools
- Excellent vision (not color blind or color confused) and good hand‑eye coordination
- Ability to interpret drawings, work instructions, and written documentation
- Professional and effective communication skills
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Excellent attendance record
- Flexibility to work overtime during the week and on weekends as needed
- IEC IPC‑A‑610, IPC‑WHMA‑620 and/or JSTD‑001 certifications considered a significant asset
