CNC Mill Operator
Calisota Parts is seeking a CNC Mill Operator to join our growing manufacturing team. This position is responsible for setting up and operating CNC milling equipment to produce precision machined components while maintaining quality, productivity, and safety standards.
The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with blueprints, tooling, and inspection equipment in a precision manufacturing environment.

What You Will Do- Set up and operate CNC milling equipment according to work instructions and production requirements.
- Load and unload material, fixtures, tooling, and finished components.
- Verify programs, tooling, work offsets, and setup requirements before production.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, work instructions, and inspection requirements.
- Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using precision measuring equipment.
- Monitor machine performance, tool wear, cycle time, and product quality.
- Troubleshoot common machining, tooling, fixture, and dimensional issues.
- Communicate concerns promptly to the CNC Lead, Quality, or Engineering.
- Maintain accurate production, inspection, scrap, and downtime records.
- Perform routine machine cleaning and operator-level preventive maintenance.
- Support setup reduction, process improvement, and scrap reduction initiatives.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- CNC mill setup and operation experience required.
- Manufacturing or precision machining experience required.
- Hurco experience required.
- Either Fusion 360 or Master Cam Software experience required.
- Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Ability to use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection equipment.
- Basic understanding of tooling, fixtures, offsets, and machining processes.
- GD&T knowledge preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and reliable attendance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
