Quality Technician | Walker, MI
Salary Range: $48,000 - $71,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the Walker region seeking Quality Technicians. These employers partner with us because they want real insight into candidates-not just resumes. By joining our network, you gain access to roles worth considering.
Key Responsibilities
- Performs in-process and final inspections of manufactured products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizing re-work and waste, and inputting data into quality systems.
- Conducts various tests on materials and finished goods, utilizing precision measuring instruments and test equipment.
- Identifies and quarantines non-conforming materials and products, initiating corrective action requests as needed.
- Assists in the investigation of root causes for quality issues and supports the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Calibrates and maintains inspection and test equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Collaborates with production personnel to address quality concerns and promote a culture of quality throughout the manufacturing process.
- Participates in internal and external audits to ensure adherence to quality management systems.
- Associate's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience in a quality role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in using various inspection tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Strong understanding of statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
- Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
