Control Technician

Night Shift:
Monday–Friday |
11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Inte Pros is seeking an experienced Controls Technician to join a leading medical device manufacturer in Walker, MI. In this hands‑on role, you'll support and maintain the controls infrastructure of highly automated manufacturing equipment, ensuring maximum uptime, equipment reliability, and production efficiency in a regulated manufacturing environment.

• Troubleshoot and repair PLCs (Allen‑Bradley preferred), servo motors, drives, HMIs, sensors, industrial networks, and machine vision systems
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and controls‑related issues to minimize production downtime
• Inspect and maintain electrical control panels while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
• Support controls upgrades, equipment commissioning, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Partner with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality teams to improve manufacturing performance
• Document repairs, update schematics, and participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions

• 2–4+ years of experience in industrial automation, controls, or electrical maintenance within a manufacturing environment
• Hands‑on experience troubleshooting PLCs, electrical systems, servo controls, HMIs, and automated equipment
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and ladder logic
• Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or a related field preferred
• Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or other regulated manufacturing environments is a plus
