Put Your Diagnostic Skills to Work Use diagnostic software, digital multimeters, voltmeters, calibrators, and specialized equipment to accurately identify mechanical and electrical issues.

Take on Challenging Repairs Perform engine and transmission tear-downs and overhauls, engine diagnostics, tune-ups,failure analysis, welding, and fabrication.

Keep Drivers and Equipment Moving Your work directly supports safe and efficient fleet operations, including service calls and temporary roadside maintenance within the designated region.

Continue Building Your Skills Participate in training programs designed to develop and strengthen your technical skills.

What You'll Do:

Diagnose and repair moderate to complex mechanical and electrical problems

Perform engine and transmission tear-downs and overhauls

Perform engine diagnostics and tune-ups Troubleshoot truck, tractor, trailer, and component systems

Perform failure analysis to identify issues with component parts and systems

Conduct inspections and diagnose minor mechanical issues according to DOT standards

Utilize industry-standard diagnostic software and specialized tools

Weld and fabricate components as needed

Read and interpret technical service manuals

Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records

Communicate with drivers, dispatchers, and management to determine repair needsand priorities

Provide estimated repair completion times

Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow DOT, EPA, OSHA, federal, and state regulations

Travel within the designated region for service calls and temporary roadsidemaintenance

Participate in technical training programs

Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Vocational or technical training in diesel mechanics, welding, or arelated field

Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

Strong knowledge of diesel engines and automotive systems

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Ability to operate and interpret industry-standard diagnostic software for heavy-duty truck tractors

Ability to read and understand technical service manuals

Strong attention to detail

Willingness to learn and work as part of a team Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in varying weather conditions

Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and participate in the company's random drug and alcohol program

Preferred:

Valid Class A CDLKnowledge of Cummins Insite andPACCAR Davie software

Welding and fabrication skills

This Is a Hands-On Role You'll need to be comfortable working on heavy-duty equipment and maneuvering into hard-to-reach areas. The position requires frequent standing, walking, climbing, bending,kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, twisting, and lifting.

You must be able to lift objects up to 50 lbs. overhead and carry or move objects up to 60lbs.

The role also requires good hand and finger dexterity, steady hands, coordination, and the ability to see and hear details necessary for diagnosing and repairing equipment.

Safety Comes First The work environment includes the shop, office, light industrial areas, and outdoors. Youmay encounter varying weather conditions, noise, fumes, dust, odors, oil, grease, andgases.
