We are looking for a talented and committed Automotive Technician to become a key member of our local service department.
Your primary focus will be the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of diverse vehicle models, specifically those manufactured by GM. We need a professional who combines technical expertise with a genuine enthusiasm for vehicle care, consistently delivering top-tier service that prioritizes safety and quality. Applicants must hold ASE Certification and bring previous factory-trained GMC experience to the table.
Core Duties- Execute comprehensive vehicle diagnostics to pinpoint mechanical problems and establish appropriate repair solutions.
- Complete all tasks outlined on repair orders promptly to help maintain our high dealership standards.
- Use technical schematics to ensure vehicle systems are properly aligned and functioning at peak performance.
- Work alongside fellow technicians to foster a collaborative environment that ensures all repairs are finished on schedule.
- Document all maintenance activities and components utilized to keep precise service logs.
- Continuously expand your knowledge of modern automotive advancements and evolving repair methodologies.
- Demonstrated expertise in automotive service procedures and estimating processes.
- Comprehensive knowledge regarding engine repair and complex electrical systems.
- Proven ability to interpret and apply technical schematics to real-world scenarios.
- Current ASE Certification coupled with a background in servicing GM vehicles.
- Sharp analytical abilities and a meticulous approach to every repair.
- Clear communication skills to help facilitate positive interactions with both staff and clients.
- Possession of a valid driver's license is mandatory, and any extra certifications are highly valued.
- Minimum of two years of professional experience working as an automotive technician.
