Tranche is located at our Blue Mountain Estate Vineyard on the east side of Walla Walla, producing estate‑grown wines that reflect the unique terroir. Our tasting room serves as a gathering place for guests to enjoy our wines, live music, and winery events. We foster a culture of curiosity, creativity, and connection across our team and community.

Brand Manager Overview

The Brand Manager is the face of Tranche, responsible for leading all customer‑facing aspects of the brand with supplemental part‑time support added during busy seasons. This is a hands‑on role that combines hospitality, sales, event execution, and community engagement.

Schedule
  • Full‑time, with seasonal Monday‑Friday or Tuesday‑Saturday work week.
  • Evening and weekend hours occasionally required during Music Series (April‑October) and winery events.
Leadership & Operations
  • Run daily tasting room operations, ensuring high service standards, compliance, and smooth execution.
  • Lead, train, and coach seasonal and part‑time staff to reflect Tranche’s brand identity.
  • Maintain accurate POS systems, tasting menus, and wine pricing.
  • Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to meet conversion and revenue goals.
  • Provide regular performance and operational updates.
Wine Club Management
  • Serve as the primary contact for wine club members, managing all aspects of membership and communication.
  • Coordinate with the fulfillment house to process and ship club releases.
  • Oversee will‑call orders and proactively follow up to ensure timely pickups or shipments.
  • Track declined credit cards and update member information.
  • Process membership updates, cancellations, and holds while maintaining accurate records.
  • Draft and send member communications, release announcements, and event invitations.
  • Track attrition and retention metrics and implement strategies to meet goals.
Customer Experience & Membership
  • Host tastings, concierge services, and private appointments with a personalized approach.
  • Develop programs to increase visitation, member retention, and email acquisition.
  • Manage CRM communications and outreach to members and high‑value clients.
  • Curate exclusive member experiences, perks, and events that deepen engagement.
Music Series & Events
  • Oversee Tranche’s April‑October Music Series, the winery’s largest draw.
  • Book bands, coordinate food trucks, and manage event staffing and logistics.
  • Execute winery events, from club launches to community activations, in alignment with brand goals.
  • Manage event budgets and vendor coordination.
Financial & Administrative Support
  • Track and report on all revenue channels (tasting room, DTC, e‑commerce, local wholesale, and events).
  • Reconcile deposits, maintain accurate transaction records, and manage financial reporting.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate transfers to support strategic goals.
  • Manage the general brand email inbox with prompt, sales‑focused communication.
E‑Commerce, Marketing & Local Wholesale Support
  • Partner with the Marketing Manager on campaigns, promotions, and social media initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate e‑commerce platforms with current offerings and event listings.
  • Support local wholesale by nurturing relationships with restaurants, retailers, and distributors; process and fulfill orders accurately and on schedule.
  • Represent Tranche at trade tastings, off‑site events, and local activations.
Community Engagement
  • Build partnerships with concierges, tour operators, and peer wineries to drive referrals.
  • Represent Tranche at events and industry gatherings.
  • Expand and strengthen brand visibility and goodwill through authentic community presence.
Required Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of experience in wine, hospitality, or brand management with a focus on direct‑to‑consumer sales.
  • Proven success achieving sales goals, managing memberships, and driving revenue.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills, with experience managing part‑time and seasonal staff.
  • Excellent communication; confident hosting tastings, events, and trade visits.
  • Event management experience, including booking entertainment, coordinating vendors, and managing budgets.
  • Financial acumen with experience in reporting, cash reconciliation, and inventory management.
