Construction Laborer

JRT Mechanical is seeking construction laborers for a commercial construction project located in Walla Walla Washington. Responsibilities include loading and unloading materials, operating hand and power tools, preparing and cleaning work areas, digging trenches, assisting with equipment setup, and following site safety procedures. Construction Laborers work outdoors in various weather conditions and must be able to lift heavy materials, follow instructions, and work effectively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load, unload, and transport construction materials and equipment.
• Assist skilled tradespeople with construction activities.
• Operate hand and power tools safely.
• Clean and prepare job sites.
• Follow all company and OSHA safety requirements.
• Perform general labor tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications:

• Ability to perform physically demanding work.
• Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety practices preferred.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

This position is open for immediate hire. Candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screen. This is considered a safety sensitive position. Wage is dependent on experience.
