Interdisciplinary; Project Engineer

Duties

Serve as the lead engineer and Contracting Officer Representative, performing pre-construction reviews of plans and schedules to ensure project feasibility and adherence to deadlines.

Directly oversee and inspect all on-site construction activities to identify problems, monitor progress, and ensure workmanship and materials strictly comply with contract requirements.

Manage all contract administration and technical documentation, including the review of contractor submittals, payment estimates, and Requests for Information (RFIs).

Provide field measurements, site data, and cost estimates to prepare, negotiate, and execute necessary contract modifications in response to on-site conditions.

Act as the primary liaison between contractors, customer representatives, and project managers, coordinating operations and communicating project status to resolve issues and prevent delays.

Lead project closeout by conducting final inspections, preparing corrective action punch lists, and verifying the accuracy of as-built drawings for official turnover.
