Videographer/Photographer and Content Creator at the Walla Walla campus.

General ResponsibilitiesAs part of the Marketing and Communications team, the Videographer/Photographer plays a key role in supporting student enrollment, engagement, and retention, as well as building trust and understanding within the communities we serve.
Under general supervision the Videographer/Photographer would be responsible for creating high-quality, compelling videos and photographs that highlight the college's various academic and support programs, along with telling the stories of our diverse student body. Content created would be used in marketing materials, social media, the college's website and media releases.
Essential FunctionsServe as primary college photographer and videographer, including college events, campus life, activities, employee portraits, and other opportunities as assigned
- Provide photography and videography for various college projects, athletics, communications and related needs. Collaborate with others in Marketing and Communications on their photography and videography needs.
- Produce content and graphics for use in video productions.
- Establish related procedures to ensure consistency in process and resulting photographs.
- Develop plan for capturing and sustaining program-related video.
- Coordinate photoshoots and video production projects with outside organizations, as needed.
- Maintain an image and video library for Marketing and Communications.
- Coordinate with Marketing, Outreach, the Foundation, and other departments key to enrollment to develop video and photo ideas that advance the WWCC brand and mission.
- Create quality multimedia storytelling using videography, photography, graphics and other tools.
- Drive video and still photo projects from pre-production through post-production to achieve high-quality content.
Plan and perform production work and content creation.
- Organize and schedule interviews and/or video/photo shoots with WWCC employees and students and community members.
- Work with Marketing team to prepare and execute interviews for video and social media.
- Convert videos and photos to proper form and content for social media, advertising.
- Plan and perform post-production tasks, which includes editing photos, reviewing footage, tape logging, rough cuts, audio adjustment, color correction, and final editing using video and photo software.
- Serve as an integral part of the WWCC Web Team to assist with web page design and keep fresh photos and videos on the website.
- Transport, set up, and operate various production equipment, including cameras, audio and video recorders, lighting equipment, props, and microphones for location and studio production.
Support all functions of the Office of Marketing and Communications as assigned.
- Collaborate with Social Media & Content Specialist for college wide social media and website projects.
- Provide support, as needed, for events, interviews, meetings, and projects, which may include tasks such as scheduling, information gathering, photography and setup.
