- Hours/Week: Approximately 40-60 hours, 11-15 shifts per month
- Employment Type: Locum/Contract
- License/Certifications: Active WA license, DEA, ABEM certification required
- Experience: Prior ER experience preferred, strong procedural skills a plus
- Hourly Rate: $1.00 per hour
- Pay Package Includes: Competitive pay, weekly direct deposit, comprehensive medical benefits (W-2), licensure, certification, travel reimbursements where applicable

- Provide emergency care for approximately 30,000 annual ER visits
- Cover inpatient shifts with a 10-hour shift length; OT applies at 12 hours/day
- Manage a busy community ED with 22 beds and diverse case mix
- Demonstrate proficiency in trauma, stroke, cardiac, and general emergency procedures
- Collaborate with other specialties and tele-stroke physicians for stroke alerts
- Maintain documentation using EPIC EMR
- Participate in on-call coverage, including nights and weekends, with applicable incentives
- Meet strict credentialing standards, including a clean file and timely privileges
- Valid, unrestricted medical license in Washington
- Active DEA registration
- ABEM certification (Board certified or eligible)
- Minimum of 11-15 ER shifts per month
- Strong communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to start within 1-2 business days of credentialing approval
This community-based emergency department handles over 30,000 visits annually. Staffed by board-certified emergency physicians, the facility operates 24/7 with varied shift coverage, including night and day shifts. The ED has a dedicated tele-stroke service, a 24/7 cardiac cath lab, and comprehensive trauma capabilities, providing a dynamic environment for experienced EM providers.
