Responsibilities
  • Offer five courses in photography or photography‑related practices, which may include digital or darkroom photography, lens‑based or video practices at Beginning, Intermediate, or Advanced levels.
  • Contribute to the Foundations program by designing a thematically‑driven, beginner‑level course (not necessarily photography).
  • Teach undergraduates, majors and non‑majors at all instructional levels.
  • Use studio resources, including a personal studio, office, and access to studio facilities and digital lab equipment.
Qualifications
  • MFA in Photography or related field required by the time of appointment.
  • College‑level teaching experience desirable.
  • Active exhibition or presentation record and knowledge of contemporary theory and practice.
  • Ability to integrate equity, inclusion, and critical pedagogical practices into teaching.
