Duties
Help
- Serve as the Geospatial Technician (Survey) for the Walla Walla District.
- Perform Surveying and Mapping services.
- Utilize Computer-Aided Design (CAD), Building Information Modeling (BIM), advanced modeling, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
- Create contract specifications, Architect-Engineer (A-E) service contracts, contract drawings, scope of work, government estimates, negotiation of contracts, and field data collection and reduction.
- Support large, multi-functional civil works projects during the planning, design, construction, and operation phases.
- Surveying licensure and/or training is highly desirable and should be mentioned within resume if attained (e.g. Land Surveyor Intern (LSI), Land Surveyor in Training (LSIT), surveying related education or training, etc.)

GS-7 Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes learning theories, principles, concepts, standards, and/or methods of fundamental surveying of field data collection. (Must be well documented in resume to be considered). This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-6).
Time in Grade Requirement:
Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
