Position: Network Administrator with Security Clearance
TEKsystems is seeking a Senior Telecommunications and Network Specialist to play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and resilient telecommunications and networking infrastructures supporting the Walla Walla location. This position demands a highly skilled individual with a Security+ and CCNA certifications as a minimum, to support the complex needs of the USACE. Deployment:
Support the development efforts of secure network architectures, including VoIP, wireless communications, and encrypted data systems, ensuring compliance with USACE and DoD standards. Maintenance and Security Enhancement:
Conduct routine and emergency maintenance tasks, upgrade systems, and implement cutting-edge cybersecurity measures to safeguard all telecommunications infrastructures. Troubleshooting and Optimization:
Quickly identify and resolve network issues, enhance system performance, and ensure the reliability and security of communications channels. Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure all operations adhere to the highest standards of security and compliance as set forth by the DoD and USACE, maintaining documentation and protocols for audit and review processes. Strategic Planning and

Work closely with District leaders and other IT professionals to plan and execute network expansions, technological upgrades, and the integration of new systems, aligning with strategic goals and mission requirements. Team:

Demonstrated expertise in secure telecommunications and network technologies, protocols, and security practices. Proven ability supporting complex projects, troubleshoot and resolve significant technical challenges, and innovate within a regulated environment. Top Skills' Details
Active DoD Secret Clearance required. Security+ and CCNA required.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, degree preferred.

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in telecommunications or network engineering, with a strong preference for backgrounds in DoD or federal agency support.

• Must hold current Security+ and CCNA certifications. Cisco certification in lieu of CCNA, but must work toward CCNA Work Environment
This person will work from the USACE Walla Walla District. The district office houses other network engineers and administrator as well as support technicians. There are also government employees onsite working alongside.
