Job Title
Senior Engineer in the Mechanical Design Section. GS-11 is a junior Mechanical Engineer leading to senior Engineer, GS-12.
DutiesPrepare preliminary design studies, design memoranda, design calculations, final design plans, and technical specifications for large Civil Works construction projects.
Develop preliminary and final design and layout of mechanical systems and equipment utilizing the CADD system as a design tool.
Make determinations regarding the compliance of contractors' proposals.
Coordinate with other engineers and architects during design development.
Furnish technical advice to other engineers and technicians.
