The Walla Walla Valley Chamber of Commerce is seeking a Program Coordinator to help deliver engaging, community-facing programs that connect businesses, foster opportunity, and strengthen our regional economy. This newly created role is a contract, part-time position ideal for someone who is organized, people-focused, and energized by dynamic environments.
About the RoleWorking closely with Chamber leadership, you will help bring programs to life—from coordination through execution—supporting initiatives that advance our mission:
Championing Business. Building Community. Driving the Valley’s Economy. From networking events and sector round tables to mentorship programs and community gatherings, this role plays a key part in ensuring a welcoming, professional, and impactful experience for all participants.
- Coordinate logistics for Chamber programs and events.
- Support and execute initiatives such as Women in Business, Young Professionals, and community round tables.
- Serve as a welcoming, on-site presence at events.
- Help foster connections between attendees, programs, and opportunities.
- Assist with communications, materials, and event preparation.
- Support sponsor and partner visibility during events.
- Provide feedback and insights to help strengthen future programming.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A natural ability to connect with people and create a welcoming environment.
- Comfort working in fast‑paced, event‑driven settings.
- Clear communication and follow‑through.
- A proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset.
- Approximately 20 hours per week (flexible, with some early morning or evening events).
- Contract position (non‑employee).
- Based in the Walla Walla Valley with in‑person event support required.
