Senior Commercial Relationship Manager

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Generate revenue through business development activities with existing clients and new prospects.
• Build and manage relationships with large, complex commercial clients, including those in specialized industry verticals.
• Actively market and develop business opportunities across commercial and industrial lending and targeted industry segments.
• Negotiate loan terms and structure credit solutions within your authority.
• Prepare and present detailed credit analysis and recommendations for borrowing requests.
• Conduct credit reviews and monitor portfolio risk to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Manage ongoing credit risk by monitoring loan performance and maintaining accurate risk ratings.
• Represent the bank in the community to build awareness and strengthen relationships.
• Mentor and coach less experienced relationship managers and support team development.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Law, Computer Science, or a related field (required).
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• At least 6 years of experience in commercial credit, analysis, or business development (required).
• Proven ability to develop and manage large, complex client relationships.
• Strong relationship management, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Deep understanding of local markets and growth strategies.
• Strong financial and analytical skills with ability to underwrite and structure commercial credits.
• Deep knowledge of cash management products and services.
• Understanding of federal and state regulations related to commercial lending and appraisal guidelines.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Targeted starting salary range (based on experience): $151,017 - $177,667.
• Annual incentive potential.
