Duties
* Ensure policies adequately relate to outlined Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) program objectives
* Produce risk management reports for higher headquarters review
* Conduct briefings to disseminate Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) guidance to agencies
* Provide mandatory training to employees to ensure workforce is aware of anti-terrorism procedures Requirements Conditions of employment
* Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
* This position requires the incumbent obtain the following core SPeD Certification:
Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) within their first two years of employment.
* Temporary Duty (TDY), approximately 30% of the time.
* Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, Ameri Corps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). Specialized experience is defined as:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service which includes ensuring anti-terrorism and/or force protection programs comply with established policy; providing feedback to help create crisis management procedures; advising personnel on existing physical security requirements; and assisting in the development of anti-terrorism and /or force protection training for organizations workforce. Time in Grade Requirement:
Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-9). Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you may qualify if your education meets the definitions below:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree LL.M., if related to the position being filled (TRANSCRIPTS MUST BE ATTACHED). OR Combination of
Education and Experience:
A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18.
