Walla Walla Treatment Center is looking to hire a Program Director for our new treatment center located at 2121 E Ave, Walla Walla, Washington. The center will open early Spring 2026.

Salary: $90k–$110k depending on experience.

Sign On Bonus: $5,000.

Relocation Assistance: Provided.

Hours: Treatment Center hours 5 a.m. – 1 p.m. Rotating Saturdays from 6 a.m. – 10 a.m.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Supervises the daily operations of an opiate treatment program to include direct supervision of the center's staff members and, by extension, each treatment center's performance in the following key areas: operations, staffing, training, compliance, and customer service.
  • Schedules and directly supervises staff members, training, and professional development, overseeing the delivery of treatment services.
  • Evaluates assigned clients' progress in treatment, implements company policies and procedures, and ensures adherence to state, federal and accrediting agency regulatory requirements.
  • Develops leadership and interpersonal skills and mentors staff members who report directly to the Program Director.
  • Executes and supervises monthly, quarterly, and annual training programs for staff and key leaders such as Clinical Supervisor, Nurse Supervisor, Medical Director, and Office Manager.
  • Coordinates training and audit efforts by internal and external functional area experts and teams.
  • Moderates weekly team meetings, treatment team meetings, and staff member crisis intervention meetings (e.g., behavioral problems, high‑risk clients, suicide, incarceration, emergency treatment center leave).
  • Serves as Corporate Compliance Officer for the center.
  • Resolves urgent and emergent issues regarding the treatment center before, during and after regular office hours.
  • Proactively monitors and addresses treatment program performance issues, maintaining daily, weekly, and monthly treatment center reports.
  • Manages treatment center revenue collections to achieve target collection rates and controls expenditures in accordance with budgeted allowances.
  • Reports any work‑related injury or illness, or workplace hazards or security issues immediately to the Program Sponsor and ensures timely documentation.
  • Ensures staff members are qualified by appropriate education, credentials, and training, and maintains required licensure/certification.
  • Ensures all staff members are trained and well‑versed in the Company’s P&P manual related to compliance.
  • Monitors treatment program and staff member compliance through testing, periodic internal audits, formal and informal surveys, and coordinates internal audits and third‑party audit efforts.
  • Drives Quality Improvement (QI) initiatives at the treatment center.
  • Assists in all marketing and outreach plans.
  • Builds and maintains a robust and active referral network (incoming and outgoing client support and assistance agencies).
Qualifications and Skills
  • Licensed LPN/RN Washington OR licensed by the Washington State Dept. of Health as a SUDP.
  • Must have at least 3,000 hours of experience in a state‑approved substance use disorder treatment agency.
  • Twenty‑eight clock hours of recognized supervised training may be substituted for 1,000 hours of experience.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Current driver's license.
  • Meets Washington requirements for employment in an opioid treatment program.
  • Follows guidelines regarding prohibited substances, even those legal at the state level.
