Registered Nurse 1 (in‑training):

Base differential: $2.50 per hour for evening and night shift.
- Additional $1.00 per hour for hours 11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.
- Additional $3.00 per hour for hours worked Friday midnight to Sunday midnight.
- Deliver services to promote health, foster healing, and support coping and adjustment.
- Screen, assess, and evaluate incarcerated individuals and their conditions.
- Respond to all other health‑care requests in a timely, clinical, and therapeutic manner.
- Delegate and supervise work; monitor, manage, coordinate, and deliver health care.
- Plan transition, make referrals, and arrange follow‑up when patients are transferred or return to the community.
- Assist patients in improving the skill and ability to provide care for themselves and their family.
- Counsel, consult, teach, advise, and provide health information that improves quality of health services and/or enhances safety and security.
- Initial and continuous unrestricted licensure in Washington as a Registered Nurse or unencumbered Multistate License from a compact state plus MLS survey completion.
- Minimum one year experience as a Registered Nurse.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Proficiency in computer‑based programs for scheduling, monitoring, and tracking patient information; data entry and word processing; e‑mail and other communication software.
- Ability to work independently and with limited supervision.

- Work may involve hazardous situations with incarcerated individuals, exposure to pepper spray, animal care projects, and TB testing requirements.
- Must be able to work in confined spaces, climb stairs, walk long distances, and lift up to 30 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs or push up to 100 lbs).
- Foreign degree equivalents require credential evaluation.
- Must have work authorization without needing employer sponsorship.
