Position
Speech Language Pathologist Clinician – Providence St. Mary Medical Center, Walla Walla, WA. Full‑time.
ResponsibilitiesUnder the general direction of the Rehabilitation Services Manager, the SLP diagnoses and treats communication and swallowing disorders. The clinician works collaboratively with rehabilitation nurses, physicians, and other interdisciplinary team members to create optimal patient outcomes. All employees are expected to be pleasant, respectful, and courteous in all interactions with patients, families, staff, and visitors.
Setting & Population ServedProvidence St. Mary Medical Center is a rural community hospital offering:
- Medical and Surgical Units
- Intensive Care Unit
- Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility – CARF certified 8‑bed unit
- Emergency and Same‑Day Surgery
- Diverse patient population including orthopedic, neurological, cardiopulmonary, and post‑acute needs
As a therapy professional, you will help patients achieve functional progress and improve their quality of life within a supportive, patient‑centered environment.
Qualifications- Education that meets certification, license, or registration requirement.
- Washington Speech Language Pathologist Licensure upon hire.
- National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire.
Preferred:
- 1 year of Speech Language Pathology experience.
Wage range: $43.64–$67.74 DOE.
Additional compensation may be available (shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities).
