Hospice On Call RN Position

Bi-weekly pay (factors in OT & CB) Local RNs welcomed at reduced 10% off posted bill rate. For this Hospice On Call RN position, the clinician will not carry a primary caseload. The On Call Nurse focuses on support to the Primary Nurses and assists with, but is not limited to, SIA visits, death visits, information sessions, lab draws, referral management back-up, weekly assessments as needed.

When phone calls are directed through to the on call nurse, the On Call Nurse will provide prompt response to the physical and emotional needs of the patients and their families in the form of phone calls and/or home visits.

Must be licensed in WA, have a reliable vehicle to cover a 60 mile service radius (mileage will be covered at IRS standard rate). Clean background check in WA and OR, drug screening, Influenza/TB/Covid vaccination records, and valid auto insurance. Clinician may float to Oregon sites therefore, Oregon RN license is encouraged, however not required lication for OR licensure is preferred upon accepting the contract.

Saturday/Sunday scheduling is 24 hr call with 9a-5p support as needed including overnight On Call, 5p-9a.

Tech System:
Wellsky Consolo. No Oasis, just HIS NBO: all hours billed. Timekeeping:
Agency timesheet. Mileage Reimbursement: per IRS Standard. Interviews will take place prior to placing an offer.

Submission Requirements:
Min of 1 year;
Hospice case management experience required. Acute/Med Surg experience preferred. BLS (AHA) - required. MUST have active DL & auto INS.

Profile Requirements: 4 year work history, if applicable. Skills checklist within 1 year '1' supervisory reference. Certificate(s) Verified RN license.

Certification Requirements: BLS (AHA).

State License Requirements:
Washington Compact Allowed.

Additional License Requirements:
Oregon RN license is required/temp license available.
