Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist for an acute care hospital position in Washington state, requiring acute care experience and an active WA OT license in hand.

Details
  • Short-term acute care hospital setting at a Level III Trauma Center with 104 staffed beds
  • Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts from 7:00–17:00
  • 13‑week contract
  • Caseload of approximately 8–9 patients per day
  • Weekend rotation required — approximately 1 weekend every 4 weeks
  • Position requires floating between all facilities within the state of Washington
  • Epic EMR — experience required
Requirements
  • Active Washington state OT license required and must be in hand at time of consideration
  • Minimum 2 years of OT experience required
  • Acute care experience is a hard stop requirement
  • Active BLS certification required
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Inpatient rehab experience preferred
  • Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
  • Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of total employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting required for consideration
  • License required if applicable
Additional Information
  • First‑time travelers will be considered for this position
  • Candidates must be self‑driven, hardworking, and collaborative team players
  • Refusal to float between facilities within the state may result in termination of the assignment
  • Former permanent staff at this facility must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
  • Scrubs of any color are accepted
  • No parking fee at this facility
  • Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position
  • This is a reduced non‑billable orientation position with 0 hours of orientation
