American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist for an acute care hospital position in Washington state, requiring acute care experience and an active WA OT license in hand.
Details- Short-term acute care hospital setting at a Level III Trauma Center with 104 staffed beds
- Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts from 7:00–17:00
- 13‑week contract
- Caseload of approximately 8–9 patients per day
- Weekend rotation required — approximately 1 weekend every 4 weeks
- Position requires floating between all facilities within the state of Washington
- Epic EMR — experience required
- Active Washington state OT license required and must be in hand at time of consideration
- Minimum 2 years of OT experience required
- Acute care experience is a hard stop requirement
- Active BLS certification required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Inpatient rehab experience preferred
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of total employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting required for consideration
- License required if applicable
- First‑time travelers will be considered for this position
- Candidates must be self‑driven, hardworking, and collaborative team players
- Refusal to float between facilities within the state may result in termination of the assignment
- Former permanent staff at this facility must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Scrubs of any color are accepted
- No parking fee at this facility
- Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position
- This is a reduced non‑billable orientation position with 0 hours of orientation
