Duties
* You will perform configuration management, in-house trainer modifications, information assurance sustainment, fleet synthetic training support, acquisition support, and technical support and liaison with fleet customers for all training systems.
* You will have full responsibility for planning and fulfilling all technical requirements of programs, projects, studies, or other work, and is a technical authority on all work to be accomplished relevant to the cognizant training systems.
* You will be an on-site IT Specialist and have full responsibility of In-Service Engineering Office (ISEO) software and hardware modifications that have been assigned to you.
* You will perform work assignments that are program-driven, i.e., they originate from sponsor, user, and contractor requirements and interfaces relating to training technologies and techniques. Requirements Conditions of employment

* You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
* MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.
* This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code 451, proficiency level basic. The incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies.
* This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition
Functional Area
and category assigned to the position is required within established category time frames.
* Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
* This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of information technology related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined:

- Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services;
is committed to providing quality products and services. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include:
Working with sponsors, users, and contractors to determine requirements and interfaces related to training technologies and techniques.
3. Oral Communication
- Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include:
Communicating information in order to assist with planning, testing, and executing Distributed Mission Operations (DMO) and Fleet Synthetic Training (FST) events.
4. Problem Solving
