OverviewMechanical Assembly Technicians assemble a variety of mechanical products by reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and using both power and hand tools in one of the following areas:
Vibratory, work cell area and sub-assembly.
High school education, community college technical school, or equivalent experience. Three years industrial experience preferred. Able to use fixtures, templates, stops and/or guides. Basic math skills.
What You Will Need To Be SuccessfulCompetence in reading and fully understanding manufacturing drawings. The ability to work with minimum supervision. Ability to contribute to the teams performance. Your confidence with measurements, tolerances, and the use of both imperial measurement and metric system.
