As a Welder, you will work in a dynamic, high‑energy production environment to fabricate stainless steel equipment used in food processing. You will use blue‑prints and engineering drawings to fit and weld assemblies and sub‑assemblies.
Qualifications- High school education, community college weld program, technical weld school, or equivalent experience.
- Three years’ experience in welding fabrication. Basic GMAW and GTAW abilities.
- Knowledge of gas torch and plasma equipment, overhead crane operations, pneumatic hand tools such as grinders.
- Able to use fixtures, templates, stops and/or guides.
- Skills in all forms of GMAW welding.
- Competence in reading and fully understanding manufacturing drawings.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Ability to contribute to the team’s performance.
- Confidence with measurements, tolerances, and both imperial measurement and metric system.
Position is contingent on successful completion of weld written and practical tests. Swing Shift offers a 4‑day work week schedule and a shift differential equal to 15% additional pay.
