Role Overview

As a Welder, you will fabricate stainless steel equipment used in food processing using blueprints and engineering drawings. Work in a dynamic, high‑energy production environment.

Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret manufacturing drawings and blueprints.
  • Fit and weld assemblies and sub‑assemblies using GMAW, GTAW, MIG, TIG, and TIP/TIG weld techniques.
  • Operate gas torch, plasma equipment, overhead crane operations, pneumatic hand tools, grinders, fixtures, templates, stops, and guides.
  • Maintain production quality, measurements, tolerances, and both imperial and metric systems.
  • Work with minimum supervision and contribute to team performance.
Qualifications
  • High school education, community college weld program, technical weld school, or equivalent experience.
  • Three years’ experience in welding fabrication with basic GMAW and GTAW abilities.
  • Knowledge of gas torch, plasma equipment, overhead crane operations, and pneumatic hand tools.
  • Competence in reading and fully understanding manufacturing drawings.
  • Skills in all forms of GMAW welding.
  • Ability to work independently and contribute to teamwork.
  • Confidence with measurements, tolerances, and both imperial and metric systems.
Tests and Requirements

Position is contingent on successful completion of weld written and practical tests, as well as a pre‑employment drug screen, criminal history, social security, and reference check.
