Overview
We are hiring for a PRN RN Field Assessor to join our team in Walla Walla, WA.
As a Registered Nurse Field Assessor (FA), you would complete Long Term Care insurance assessments. These hands-off assessments require you to obtain claimant demographics, physician information, a current medication list, and to evaluate the claimant's functional level of independence.
The assessment process includes a brief cognitive screening and evaluating the claimant's ability to complete ADL and IADL tasks. The ideal candidate will be technologically savvy and able to use a point-of-care web application/system on a laptop or tablet in real time for documentation.
Responsibilities- Complete Long Term Care insurance assessments for claimants.
- Obtain claimant demographics, physician information, and current medication lists.
- Evaluate claimant s functional level of independence, cognitive status, and ability to perform ADL and IADL tasks.
- Document findings in a point-of-care web application/system in real time using a laptop or tablet.
Required Qualifications:
- Current and unrestricted RN licensure in the state of practice.
- Current CPR certification.
- Current driver s license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
- Proven ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ years of RN experience.
- Proven ability to work independently.
- Proven good communication, writing, and organizational skills.
Pay is based on several factors including local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to salary, the role may include a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, 401k contribution (subject to eligibility). The hourly pay range is $36.98 to $81.63 per hour based on full-time employment. This position is not eligible for benefits. We comply with all applicable minimum wage laws.
