A Registered Nurse caregiver must obtain their ACLS and Moderate Sedation Certificate within their first month. All Registered Nurses without a Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) degree or higher must obtain a BSN within 3 years from date of hire.

Shift Details

Part time (30 hours/week), Day Shift, 0.75 FTE. 10‑hour daily, overtime after 40‑hour week. Regular shifts are Monday‑Friday with rotating call‑coverage during weeknights and weekends. Call is required as part of this role.

About our Cath Lab

Our staff work collaboratively with technologists, diagnostic cardiologists, interventional cardiologists, and interventional radiologists. The role includes moderate sedation and critical nursing care for patients in the Cath Lab and related interventional radiology sites. Care is managed for biopsies, drain placements, spinal cord stimulators, nerve ablations, and other service line procedures. You will work with devices such as Penumbra, Rotablator, Shockwave, Impella, Maquet Balloon Pumps, and other service line products.

The nurse works as part of a four‑person rotating call team with the interventional cardiologist providing 24‑hour coverage for our community and the communities we serve. Interdepartmental collaboration is essential.

Typical work schedule: about 30 work hours per week, 2 weekends of call coverage in every 6‑week rotation, and mid‑week rotating call coverage. Each staff member will be assigned approximately 14 days of call in a 6‑week rotation, with two weekends counted within those days. Holidays are fairly rotated.

Required Qualifications
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Upon hire:
    Washington Registered Nurse License.
  • Upon hire:
    National Provider BLS – American Heart Association.
  • Upon hire:
    National Provider ACLS – American Heart Association.
  • One year of nursing experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years Critical Care experience in Emergency, Intensive Care, etc.
  • Bachelor of Nursing degree (BSN) preferred.
  • Certification in related specialty area preferred.
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).
