Travel RN - Cath Lab​/EP

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab RN for a 13-week travel contract at a Level III Trauma Center in Washington, with Epic experience required and on-call responsibilities every 2-3 weekends and nights per week.

Job Details

• Short-term acute care hospital setting at a Level III Trauma Center with 104 staffed beds,

• Cath Lab unit performing cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology (IR) procedures,

• RN roles include sedation and circulator responsibilities,

• Patient ratio of 1-2 RNs per procedure,

• Day shift schedule, 4x10-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 5:00 PM),

• On-call required every 2-3 weekends and 2-3 nights per week, including weekend on-call shifts,

• No floating between units within this facility; however, travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state of Washington,

• Charting via Epic (experience required),

• No floating within the unit,

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in Washington State or a valid Compact RN license,

• Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience required,

• Interventional radiology (IR) experience required,

• Epic EMR experience required,

• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration,

• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required for consideration,

Additional Information

• Performs scrub, sedation, and circulator roles during cardiac cath and IR procedures,

• All scrub colors are accepted,

• No parking fee at this facility,

• Refusal to float between facilities within the state may result in termination of the assignment,

• Former permanent employees of this health system must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility,

• Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position,
