Position: Registered Nurse – Hospice

$1958.40/week -

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Hospice Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive end-of-life care within the Walla Walla community. The role involves managing a caseload of patients, performing a variety of nursing visits, and ensuring timely documentation in accordance with clinical standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a patient caseload of 15 with 4-5 visits daily, depending on patient acuity and geographic area.
  • Perform all service-level nursing visits including routine, GIP, continuous, and respite care.
  • Conduct admission, SIA, and death visits with compassionate, patient-centered approach.
  • Complete same-day charting to ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
  • Maintain compliance with state licensure, vaccination, background checks, and auto insurance requirements.
  • Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members and float to Oregon sites as needed, applying for licensure upon contract acceptance.

Qualifications:

  • Possess a minimum of 1 year of current hospice case management experience.
  • Hold an active Washington or Compact RN license;
    Oregon licensure encouraged.
  • Demonstrate active AHA BLS certification.
  • Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle to cover service radius.
  • Willing to perform all levels of hospice nursing and documentation.
