RN - PACU

PACU Registered Nurse

Seeking a PACU Registered Nurse. Position requires floating between preoperative, postoperative, and PACU settings. First time travelers with experience in all phases of care will be considered. Expected patient ratios are 1:3. Provider must be able to work in preoperative, postoperative, and PACU environments. Special procedures include colon, EGD, urology, neuro, orthopedics, and GYN. Required skills include end-tidal CO2 monitoring, blood product administration, intubation, and more.

Must be able to perform pre-op assessments and provide discharge instructions. Additional responsibilities include managing PCA pump, IV vasopressors, and central line care. Ideal candidates will have experience in monitoring and recovery for various surgical procedures. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy. The unit is equipped for diverse patient age groups and a wide range of diagnoses.

Travelers may be required to float between nearby facilities as needed. Must commit to working on holidays as specified.
