Wine Specialist | Seasonal (June–October, Fri–Sun)

Abeja Winery is seeking a wine specialist to join our team for the summer season. The role involves leading engaging wine tastings, supporting winery events, and providing exceptional customer service to guests, members, and staff.

• Lead engaging, educational, and unforgettable wine tastings for guests and members
• Share wine stories, winemaking philosophy, and membership benefits with confidence and enthusiasm
• Assist with tasting room operations (setup, cleanup, inventory, wine order fulfillment)
• Handle transactions, reservations, and guest communications professionally and warmly
• Provide on‑site support for winery events, including releases, celebrations, and winemaker dinners
• Provide top‑notch customer service via in‑person, phone, or email interaction to build lasting relationships

• Passion for wine & hospitality; experience with luxury wine brands is a plus
• Strong communication & sales skills; ability to connect with guests and convey our story authentically
• Weekend availability – Friday, Saturday & Sunday
• Physical stamina – can lift 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
• Wine knowledge – experience in the wine industry; WSET or Guild Somm certification preferred
• POS system savvy – comfortable handling transactions with accuracy
• Reliable transportation
