Job Summary:We are seeking a dedicated and service-oriented Market Sales Associate to join our team. This position involves delivering an excellent experience and expertly crafted products for our community of customers. Key Responsibilities:Market Sales Associate:
- Prepare food and beverage products according to standard recipes or customized for customers.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and making product recommendations through clear and pleasant communication.
- Operate the point-of-sale system to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare and gather order components for on-time pickup or delivery fulfillment, for both in-store and online orders.
- Monitor product inventory, restock items as needed, and keep the display organized and visually appealing.
- Promote The Mill’s mission and values, engaging with the community and building positive relationships.
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality and meet operating policies and standards, including providing quality food and beverage products, cash handling and safety and security.
- Previous experience in hospitality and/or retail sales is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow oral and written instructions accurately.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Available to perform many different tasks within the store during each shift.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
This part-time position requires 20-30 hours weekly, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Compensation:$17.50/hr (hours worked in the market are eligible for tips)
