This position is located in Walla Walla, Washington. However, we are open to remote depending on experience and training.
Position SummaryA full sale cycle position that is responsible for new business acquisition in the healthcare industry within a multi-state territory. As an individual contributor, this position generates new logos annually by building new relationships with prospective clients, qualifies opportunities by conducting discovery calls and selling Coffey services by recommending custom-designed solutions to fit healthcare marketing needs. Represents Coffey Communications with professionalism and the highest level of ethics.
EssentialJob Functions
- Nourishes a full sale cycle from start to finish and successfully hands accounts off to the production team.
- Establishes relationships with new prospects through cold calling, emails, social selling, attending conferences and responding to inbound leads.
- Continuously prospects to build a full pipeline each year. Reviews pipeline to help forecast sales with leadership.
- Secures contracts to meet quarterly and annual minimum sales goals.
- Tracks sales activity in Coffey's CRM, such as logging call notes and emails, completing activities, and creating new tasks to be accomplished.
- Travels to prospects for meetings and presentations as requested or required.
- Develops proposals, responds to all prospect requests, and follows through on all aspects of the sales process.
- Engages current clients in the territory to identify opportunities for cross‑selling and to introduce new products and services, focusing on growth rather than retention.
- Attends national and state trade shows. Assists with setup, takedown and shipment of trade exhibits.
- Informs management and marketing team of market opportunities and threats.
- Acquires and maintains product and procedural knowledge and pricing information. Stays current with healthcare industry and market knowledge.
- Participates in opportunity win/loss activities.
- Gathers information on competitors and attends appropriate webinars, if applicable.
- Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either orally or in writing.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field or equivalent education or experience.
- Must have marketing and/or agency experience selling to the healthcare industry.
- Minimum of three years of demonstrated business-to-business sales success in selling complex digital marketing solutions. Demonstrated proficiency of a full sale cycle.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with all levels in an organization during the sales process.
- High degree of integrity, motivation, and ability to influence and persuade prospects to achieve desired outcomes.
- Must demonstrate strong analytical, problem‑solving and negotiation skills to help provide tailored solutions.
- Ability to travel nationwide.
- Strong presentation, organization, and time‑management skills.
- Has energy, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn and contribute to the team's success.
- Proficiency and advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM, and automation tools.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50lbs when constructing trade exhibits.

Compensation Range: $80,000 - $120,000 base + commission
