Summer Internship ProgramOur Summer Internship Program (PLOT) offers an opportunity to gain meaningful experience in Professional Products Sales while building the foundation for a successful career. During this 12-week program, you'll learn from industry professionals, tackle real-world projects, and develop working knowledge of customer relationship management, business development, sales strategy, and the professional products industry. You'll have the opportunity to present your internship learnings directly to leadership.
This is more than just an internship. It's your chance to make a real impact, build professional knowledge, and sharpen your abilities in a dynamic, results-driven environment. Successful completion of the PLOT program can also earn you a scholarship between $1,000 and $3,000.
As a Wilbur-Ellis Professional Products Sales Intern, you'll gain experience in customer engagement, sales support, territory management, and business development activities. You'll work alongside experienced sales professionals to understand how customer relationships are built and maintained while supporting initiatives that drive growth and deliver value to customers.
Responsibilities- Participating in customer visits.
- Conducting market and competitive research.
- Assisting with sales planning and account management activities.
- Analyzing customer and sales data.
- Supporting product positioning efforts.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities that enhance customer success and business performance.
You will also have the opportunity to share your ideas, contribute innovative solutions, and gain firsthand experience in a sales-driven environment. At the conclusion of your internship, you will prepare and present a final PowerPoint presentation highlighting your project work, key learnings, and overall experience.
What You Bring to the RoleWe are seeking a college student pursuing a degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Business, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Turfgrass Management, Horticulture, or a related field with an interest in sales and business development.
