• Maintain a courteous, friendly, and professional relationship with staff and district stakeholders.
• Cooperate with maintenance and facility staff to schedule activities and repairs.
• Ensure custodial equipment is used properly, cared for, stored, and maintained, and report any issues with a work order.
• Fold, pick up, and store laundry; contact Stevie if laundry is not completed or picked up.
• Use custodial building supplies and equipment efficiently and properly.
• Communicate with custodial supervisor daily.
• Assist with custodial assignments due to normal scheduling, absenteeism, special activities, or projects.
• Assist with disinfecting when COVID cases are identified in buildings.
• Complete all tasks as assigned.
• Provide outstanding customer service when interacting with district staff and administrators.
• Apply knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment.
• Work well with the public and outside groups.
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills and meet deadlines.
• Handle multiple issues/responsibilities with minimal supervision.
• Arrive up to two hours early for snow removal to clear walkways before school starts (on call).
• Lift up to 25 lbs and push/pull equipment.
• Stand, walk, and regularly ascend/descend stairs for 90% of your scheduled shift.
• Reach above your head and below your waist as needed.
• Work overtime as required.

• Entry level experience or training in custodial services preferred.
• Full‑time availability on a 3rd‑shift schedule.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, standing, and stair climbing.
