About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Play Leader to support our very popular out of school club. If you love getting children involved in meaningful and rewarding activities then this job is 100% for you! This is a fulfilling role where you will be encouraged to use your creative and appealing ideas to promote the club via newsletters, social media and interaction with parents and carers of the children who attend the club.

You will need to hold a minimum Level 3 Play Work (or Early Years) qualification and ideally have leadership experience to lead and manage the day to day running of the Out of School Club setting and a small team of Play Workers. You will be full of fun, educational and inspiring ideas to stimulate good quality play activities within a safe and caring environment for children aged 4-11 years old before and after school hours.

You will support the nursery management team to manage children’s bookings and registers, and staff rotas, ensuring the effective deployment of staff throughout the session. The role offers some flexibility in working hours during non-term time (to be discussed at interview).
