* The Role
* We are seeking an experienced and motivated Domestic and Commercial gas engineer to join our growing team.

In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing and heating systems in residential and commercial properties Before, Throughout and after project completion. You will also play a key leadership role on-site — supporting Project Managers, guiding engineers and apprentices, and ensuring our projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

* Key Responsibilities
* * Install, service, and repair plumbing and heating systems across domestic and commercial sites

* Ensure all work complies with Gas Safe regulations and industry safety standards

* Conduct planned preventive maintenance (PPM) inspections and prepare detailed reports

* Liaise directly with clients, providing exceptional customer service and representing the company professionally

* Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with the wider team

* Lead and mentor apprentices and junior engineers, fostering continuous development

* Support Project Managers in delivering projects on time, within budget, and to a high standard

* Work collaboratively as part of a skilled, professional team

* What We’re Looking For
* * NVQ Level 3 qualification in Plumbing & Heating (or equivalent)

* Minimum 5 years’ experience in the trade

* Strong technical knowledge of both domestic and commercial systems

* Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Full UK Driving Licence

* Desirable (Training Can Be Provided)
* * Gas Qualifications (Domestic and Commercial)

* LPG & Oil qualifications (Preferred but not essential)

* Experience in plant room installations

* Knowledge of renewable systems (GSHP, ASHP, Solar Thermal)

* Previous supervisory or management experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
