Overview
Job Title: Accounts Payable Processor
Our client, a well-established distribution company, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Processor to join their finance team. This role is responsible for accurately processing invoices, managing vendor payments, and supporting the efficiency of the accounts payable function in a fast-paced distribution environment.
Key Responsibilities- Process and verify vendor invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports for accuracy and compliance.
- Enter invoices and payment data into the accounting system.
- Prepare and schedule payments via check, ACH, or wire transfer.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Maintain organized AP records and documentation for audits and reporting.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve invoice or payment issues.
- Support month-end closing and assist with related reporting tasks.
- Proven experience in accounts payable, preferably in a distribution, manufacturing, or logistics environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and accounting software (SAP).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. The salary range for the role is noted in this job posting where required by local law.
The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
