Mazzotta is partnering with a company in the Wallingford area seeking a reliable, highly organized Part‑Time Compliance Administrator to support bookkeeping, compliance, and day‑to‑day office operations. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, can manage details, and works confidently with systems, paperwork, and deadlines.
Contract to hire, $25 - $28 per hour
Schedule:
- 20–24 hours per week
- Monday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM required
- Thursday – minimum of 4 hours required
- Flexible scheduling for a third workday
What you’ll be doing:
- Administrative and compliance‑related office support
- Bookkeeping assistance, data entry, and maintaining accurate records
- Supporting payroll‑related processes and documentation
- Managing files, reports, and compliance paperwork with strong attention to detail
- Working within computer systems to track, organize, and maintain information
- Assisting with general office coordination and priorities
What we’re looking for:
- Administrative and bookkeeping experience
- Strong computer skills and comfort learning systems
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize, stay accurate, and work independently
- Construction industry knowledge is a plus
- Experience with certified payroll processing is highly valued
