Community Health Network of Connecticut, Inc. (CHNCT) is currently seeking an Admin. Coordinator
- Community Engagement to join our team.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Under the supervision and direction of the Director of Community Affairs & Engagement, the Administrative Coordinator
- Community Engagement performs a variety of administrative support duties for the Community Affairs and Engagement Department in a timely and accurate manner, including, but not limited to, mailings, ordering supplies, creating and maintaining files and scanning documentation. - The Administrative Coordinator provides administrative support for department-related projects and meetings including scheduling Zoom conference calls, meeting minutes, attendance tracking, and disseminating/collecting materials.
- Organizes Policy and Procedure postings through SharePoint, maintains efficiency of secured documents on Community Affairs drive, and supports maintenance of Department of Social Services administrative requirements.
Tasks Performed:
- Provides administrative support to the Community Affairs and Engagement department for all programs to include scheduling meetings, preparing materials, inventory, meeting minutes, and maintaining all documentation in an organized manner.
- Produces and formats reports needed for presentations and creates PowerPoint presentations for meetings as requested by the Director and utilizes the ticketing system to have presentations reviewed and edited.
- Assists with maintenance of revised policies and procedures, Community Affairs events and other community activities as needed.
Essential Functions:
- Assists with other projects and tasks that improve the overall organization of the department. Performs other administrative support tasks as assigned.
Desired Education: Secondary school or vocational training
Desired Degree: High school diploma or GED;
Associate's degree preferred
Desired Major: Secretarial or Administrative support
Desired Job Experience: 3-5 years' related experience in a complex office environment
Other Qualifications: Requires excellent office administration and both verbal and written communication skills; ability to understand and execute instructions and work independently without direct oversight. Strong organization skills with a high level of attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Office environment with in-depth knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel. Must be flexible and a team player with a positive attitude who can perform well and handle multiple priorities and multi-task.
This is a full-time hybrid position.
