A.R. Mazzotta is partnering with an established construction company in the Wallingford area to hire an experienced Estimator for a full‑time, direct hire opportunity. If you enjoy putting together competitive bids, working through project details, and collaborating with subcontractors and leadership, this could be a great next step in your career.

• $55K - $65K, depending on experience

• Develop detailed, accurate project estimates, bids, and proposals
• Review architectural drawings, specifications, and project documentation
• Perform quantity take‑offs and identify project scope requirements
• Gather and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing
• Communicate with subcontractors, vendors, and leadership throughout the bidding process
• Analyze labor, materials, timelines, and overall project costs
• Support estimating and pre‑construction activities from start to finish

• 3+ years of construction estimating experience
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction specifications
• Understanding of construction methods, materials, and project flow
• Experience with estimating software, CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Acrobat
• Strong organizational and follow‑through skills
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent hands‑on industry experience
