Trainer, Training Instructor ​/ Specialist

The State of Connecticut, Department of Developmental Services (DDS),Central Office, Quality and System Improvement Division, within Education Support and Staff Development, has one Trainer vacancy located in Wallingford. • Regular Days off Saturday and Sunday

• Prepare and conduct training courses
• Assist in planning, developing, coordinating and evaluating comprehensive training programs
• Conduct needs assessments;
• Develop course objectives, curricula, outlines and contents
• Select and develop training methods and materials; research learning material and resources
• Monitor and evaluate training courses and participants progress
• Provide technical assistance and consultation
• Maintain records and prepare reports
• Organize and maintain a library of training materials
• May conduct drills and exercises
• Travel to various locations to conduct training.

• Prepares and conducts training courses;
• Assists in planning, developing, coordinating and evaluating comprehensive training programs;
• Conducts needs assessments;

• Researches learning material and resources;
• Monitors and evaluates training courses and participants progress;
