Skyview Rehab and Nursing is seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Admissions to join our team at our facility in Wallingford, Connecticut. As a valued member of our admissions team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and seamless process for our patients and their families.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for patient inquiries and admissions
• Coordinate with healthcare providers, referral sources, and insurance companies to facilitate the admissions process
• Should have Insurance experience
• Conduct patient assessments to determine eligibility and develop personalized care plans
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient admissions, assessments, and treatment plans
• Process admission paperwork

• Develop and implement effective admissions strategies to meet or exceed departmental targets
• Manage admissions budgets and monitor expenses to ensure financial stability
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes

• Minimum of 2 years of exeperience in a Skilled Nursing Facility
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
• Familiarity with healthcare regulations
