Position: Clinical Support Associate- 32 Hour/evenings-Medical/Telemetry Unit-Lyman 1

Clinical Support Associate

The Clinical Support Associate performs various general clerical, communicative, and support services tasks to nursing, medical, and other staff members on the nursing unit.

Qualifications:

  • H.S diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • 1-2 years of related/clerical experience required
  • Familiarity with medical terminology required

Work schedule:

24 hours/evening shift (3:00 pm-11:30 pm) rotating weekends and holidays

Gaylord nursing units offer a variety of skills such as:

Milne units:
Step down/progressive care unit of level of care includes:

  • Continuous telemetry monitoring
  • Ventilator support and weaning
  • LVAD patient population
  • Heart transplant population

Lyman 1 & Hooker 1:
Medical units offer skills such as:

  • Stroke
  • Complex wounds
  • Telemetry
  • Pulmonary care

Lyman 2 & Hooker 2:
Specialty units are CARF accredited with a focused patient population:

  • Traumatic brain injury
  • Stroke
  • Spinal cord injury
