We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to support complex payroll operations across multiple entities and states. This role will be responsible for ensuring accurate payroll processing, maintaining compliance requirements, supporting reporting functions, and serving as a resource for payroll-related inquiries.
Key Responsibilities- Process weekly multi-state, multi-company payrolls
- Ensure payroll compliance with union contracts and collective bargaining agreements
- Administer wage garnishments, levies, child support, and withholding orders
- Maintain knowledge of union pay rules and PTO provisions
- Address and resolve payroll-related issues and inquiries
- Prepare certified payroll reports
- Maintain payroll metrics and reporting
- Perform payroll-related journal entries
- Construction payroll experience
- Union payroll experience
- Experience working with IBEW and/or IATSE agreements
- Multi-state payroll processing experience
- Strong understanding of payroll compliance requirements
- Experience managing garnishments, tax levies, and withholding orders
- Certified payroll reporting experience
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency with payroll systems and reporting tools
